On Reformation Day Wittenberg is teeming with confirmands from all over Germany and beyond – and it happens again this year. You are cordially invited to the 13th annual Confirmation Gathering on October 30 and 31, 2012 in the city of Luther. Over five hundred teenagers will participate in this colourful 24 hour program.
"Jesus Christ says: My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12,9) is the scripture of this year. Precisely, the love and power of God often acts in those who occure as failed and stranded people. Does that make sense?, we will ask at the gathering.
Just like last year there will be a combination of reflection, experience, creativity, community, faith, and music in our schedule. There will be a Reformation Clue Search, workshops, and a procession through the city to the door of the Castle Church where Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses.
