Lutherspass

On Reformation Day Wittenberg is teeming with confirmands from all over Germany and beyond – and it happens again this year. You are cordially invited to the 12th annual Confirmation Gathering on October 30 and 31, 2011 in the city of Luther. Over five hundred teenagers will participate in this colourful 24 hour program.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but rather overcome evil with good” (Romans 12.21) is the scripture of this year. Discovering one’s own path to goodness is certainly not so simple, but the search for this path is worth it.
“Find´s raus! – Check it out!” is therefore our motto for this year. Just like last year there will be a combination of reflection, experience, creativity, community, faith, and music. There will be a Reformation Clue Search, workshops, and a procession through the city to the door of the Castle Church where Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses.
